This VFX blog is written for people who are interested in the world of Visual Effects, film making and anything that uses at least a spark of creativity. The articles will range from introductions to in depth explanations on how Visual Effects are made, reviews, case studies, art work, projects and plenty of other topics which involve creativity.


About the writer:

Frederic Cervini worked more than a decade in the VFX industry on film and commercial projects. He has an MSc in engineering (specialisation in computer networks) form Group T (Leuven, Belgium) and an MSc in Computer Animation from Bournemouth University.

He has worked on feature films like 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and two of the 'Harry Potter' movies. In 2005 he started his own freelance company back in Belgium and has done several feature films, shorts and commercials for different clients.

Currently he is doing more computer science related work but he still dabbles in creative projects and game development.
